Subject: Relaunch of Old Toy Soldier Journal # 11

Dear Toy Soldier Collector

We are very pleased to be reaching out to previous subscribers to the Old Toy Soldier Newsletter and potential new members.

We will be relaunching at the end of September as the Old Toy Soldier Journal Limited, led by Rob Wilson in the key role of editor. This will be on a not-for-profit basis, with the continued support of previous volunteers and contributors.

Our plan is to deliver content via our website https//:oldtoysoldier.com. We will create a PDF file of each quarterly issue which can be printed in hardcopy by members. The website will have a public area and a members only area for paying subscribers; further details will be provided in due course.

We will be adding a lot of new content, including members listings, advertisers directory, an improved reconnaissance section for figure identification, details of other soldier websites and Facebook groups, and merchandise (in 2027),  as well, as access to the articles and other material.

In the second half of 2027, we may return to hard copy print, but due to increasing costs this may not be possible.

At this stage, please can you to confirm that you are happy for us to communicate with you by email and store your details electronically by replying to this email "yes" and completing and emailing the attached consent notice. If you are a US resident, please use the US consent form. If you are not, please use the general consent form. Don’t forget to tick the box!

If you wish to be removed from our data base simply reply "No".

If you have already returned a form to me I don’t need it again.

Please do spread the word to other collectors. Our aim is to make the journal the premier online forum and source of information for all toy soldier collectors.

The basic membership subscription will be $99 per year. If you subscribe this calendar year, this will cover you until 31.12.2027.

If you would like to help a bit more, there are additional voluntary membership levels as follows

Silver $299

Gold $1000 upwards

These additional funds will help us to improve and update the website, marketing and promotion.

More information to follow in the next few weeks.

Best wishes and good hunting.
