A few snaps of items I picked up at the June 7th show in Toronto.

1) A Pipe & Drum Band of the Canadian Grenadier Guards (missing a bass drum - hopefully to be added).

2) A boxed set of Britain's 5154 FHG. Note the price tag on the end: sold at Ft Henry store for the princely sum of $3.95 CAN. If you're wondering, yes, I paid alot more.

3) Well reproduced iconic image of Canadian Artillery in Winter from Jan 9, 1889 edition of Harper's Weekly. The article (not shown) states this sled transport cost a staggering $60 CAN (adusted to inflation ~$1700.00 CAN) to make, but apparently the troops are satisfied with it!! One wonders if the Cdn govt could replicate it at a similar cost - not!?
