My collection of the late John Tunstill's "Soldiers' Soldiers". There are a number of sets of British infantry in various orders of dress as well as some Royal Navy troops at attention in their signature straw "sennet hats". More pics to follow.

Fusiliers and Infantry in greatcoats at the "Slope" and "Advance" arms

(the rear troops are marked on box as at the "shoulder" but they would have to be rifle regiments to ... nvm I'm being overly pedantic :D).

I'm not really sure which instruments go where, so I improvised.

Footguards at the "slope" and at the "order" arms. Royal Artillery gunners, in greatcoats at the "port arms".

British infantry stood at ease, the rear rank in review order with home service helmets and the front rank in drill order with wedge caps.

Last but not least, the RN sailors ashore and under arms. Led by an officer wearing a foreign service helmet with the ratings in straw "sennet hats".

If you've made it this far, thanks! One of the things I really like about this range of figures is being spoiled for choice when it comes to figures in the drill position of choice. It must have been a great experience for those of you who purchased from him direct. I am sad that I was only able to pick stuff up after his passing.
