My very good friend - Frank Poeth from Holland sent me some photos of his latest conversions/castings

but I cannot get his photos to this web site-nor can he it seems!!!

Frank and I have been friends for nearly 40 years,

having started as pen pals in the 1980's(when I lived in South Africa)

Frank is a most extraordinary man. He was until very recently an English teacher, but in his local town of TEGELEN he is one of the main organisers of their Passion play- held every 4 years( he has been involved every year since he was six!), he was in the Hockey team, he has four wonderful children, he collects Elastolin figures , as well as making castings of his own ,once he has converted another figure, on top of all that he is the Colonel of the re-enactment group for the von Glasenapp Regiment, he has written a book on this recently.

I am VERY lucky to have this talented man(and his lovely wife Danielle ) as my friend . A few years ago he was Honoured by his country with the equivalent of an MBE/OBE by the then Queen of the Netherlands.

If only I could transfer the photos.........
