For anyone with a Last Samurai feel
Okay not sure if we have anyone collecting Samurai figures but King and Country appear to have just started a new range.
We have three ashigaure arquebusier's, three bowmen and a pair thundering out on a taiko drum.
£55 per single figure and £129 for the drummers

So the Samurai landed today and they are very nice. So first up the musketeers come with small steel ramrods which come adrift if not careful when unpacking so be warned.
And now on with the review:- okay I haven't bought K&C for a while so I assume this is fairly new they put a picture on the side of the box that matches the figure inside very handy when all you have is a reference number.
The figures are nicely scuplted, well painted to the usual high standard and in very nice poses.
Now if you recall First Legion did Samurai figures and one of the extra's was bamboo fences used to protect musketeers from attack by enemy units with less need for pikemen. The K&C figure as 60mm match in nicely so if you want a display item this will do the trick.
So if you have a seven samurai thing or want to refight the battles in Ran this may suit you.
