I was only 6 in 1984, and just into the Britains plastic farm series - I had yet to enter the 'One Truth Faith' ;-) I do own a copy of this catalogue, which James used to have a stack of on his table at the London shows. I think I've managed to get him to sign virtually every Opie tome on my shelves - I even achieved 'The Opie Double' when I visited him at home, and had both James and Robert sat signing their respective publications. Always liked the cover to this catalogue, which really evokes that Harry Payne illustrations/printed scraps of the British Army pre-1914. Keep meaning to find one of the limited edition souvenir New Metal highlanders to stand guard over it.
