So here are a couple of items I've recently come by. One replica Christmas 1914 tin plus one replica trench whistle plus chain. I purchased the chain and whistle separately and with a pair of pliers and care opened the ring on the chain to fit it to the whistle, not very much to buy but nice little items to use with WWI figures to set things in context. And yes the whistle does work. I took it into the garden to try and next-doors cat almost fell off our garage roof when I sounded the whistle .
