British troops in Persia and Palestine
The British theater of operations in the Middle East in the interwar years! A period rarely explored in our collecting world! These are straight from the shelves , but I plan to come up with a comprehensive diorama so that they can all have their chance to be seen in action!

Wonderful pictures as always. My mother's maternal grandfather was Indian army serving in the Middle East, he's still MIA. He was with the Indian Army POW's sent on a death march across the desert by the Turks. It was strange as when I was told about him I was reading an old book that described what they went through in that march. The Turkish troops acted in the same way the Japanese did as the starving thirsty men when forced to march day after day. They used bayonets to keep them marching then to finish off those too weak to carry on rather waste a bullet on them.
