Trooping the Colour
So here I am watching my first birthday parade in some time. Last time I watched properly was the last parade of the late Queen Elizebeth II. I had always watched this with my Dad an ex army regular from the 60's who died in 2021 for MND. Mum and I watched the 2022 parade to remember Dad. I haven't felt I could watch it again until now, not properly, from start to finish. So here we go

I will be watching it later after work. Its a cherished memory we share in a way.
My dad used to take me to see the Changing of the Guard on Parliament Hill on Ottawa when I was a toddler. Its those memories that started and fuel my toy soldier habit.
