The Falkland Islands
One of my favourite series by K&C, I received a few terrain pieces in the post to complete my little display of that tough fight in the South Atlantic.

King & Country's 95th Rifles recently arrived in the post. They are quite nicely done and are an improvement on K&C's earlier 95th Rifles.

Very nice figures, Little Legion do Sharpe and Harper as pair and Tradition did Sharpe with the French Eagle awhile back
While I was deployed to Latvia over the last six months, I had the opportunity to pick up a few Baltic themed pieces from Riga and Tallinn.

I also took my mid-deployment leave in the UK and stopped in at The Armoury of St. James's and picked up some Nelson themed pieces.

I got home just in time for Christmas and was lucky to get several toy soldiers mostly John Jenkins American War of Independence and Scott Dummitt's 54mm Canadian Scottish Regiment Piper with Four Privates. I also received the new ITSC book reprint.
Now here is something VERY different- a wooden soldier recently for sale on ebay @ ยฃ750!!!!!!!! It didn't sell.
So I sketched one on to some paper , then

traced it onto some Conti board, cut it out , then painted it & screwed it together, would anyone like one for only ยฃ700??? I didn't think so!!
The figure is about 9" tall
As I said on the Zoom call at the time: 'I like the marching stance. They have a real sense of porpoise... '
A good grouping. I worked with a couple of chaps who served in that set too which now seems a hundred years ago to some people but still feels like no time at all to me. Good bless them all
