John Jenkins Designs, a newer toy soldier company headquartered in Hong Kong, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Besides releasing a limited series commemorating the 1842 Battle of Gandamak based on the famous Wollen painting, he is also running monthly caption contests and placing "golden tickets" in a few boxes of newer soldiers.

Here is what I got for winning a caption contest and receiving a golden ticket with a recent purchase.

I'm gobsmacked by John's generosity. In total, I received six Maratha cavalrymen and twenty foot figures, a mix of Bunker Hill marines and minutemen and Maratha infantry.
